GoldMine Report Writer

The built in GoldMine Report Writer provides more that 150 standard reports that can be run directly from the Report Center in GoldMine. These standard reports are grouped in the following categories: Contact Reports, Calendar Reports, Analysis Reports, Labels & Envelopes, and Other Reports. The standard reports can be modified to better meet the user’s reporting requirements.

Requirements: No additional software needed; the GoldMine Report Writer is part of the GoldMine Standard Edition, GoldMine Corporate and Premium Edition products.

Crystal Reports

Crystal Reports is a powerful, industry standard reporting tool that has strong analysis capabilities and cross platform enterprise deployment options. Crystal Reports software supports development of sophisticated custom reports, using data from GoldMine or from GoldMine and other data sources simultaneously. GoldMine users can run Crystal Reports directly from the Report Center in GoldMine.

Requirements: Crystal Reports software is included with GoldMine Corporate and Premium Edition (one full development license and run-time licenses for all users). For GoldMine Standard Edition users, Crystal Reports can be purchased commercially.

Microsoft SQL Reporting Services

SQL Reporting Services is a comprehensive, server-based reporting solution designed to help you author, manage and deliver both traditional paper-based and interactive web-based reports. SQL Reporting Services uses the data management capabilities of SQL Server.

Requirements: SQL Reporting Services is included with Microsoft SQL Server 2005, which is included with GoldMine Corporate Edition license. For report development, Microsoft Visual Studio.NET or another design tool that uses Report Definition Language (RDL) is needed. SQL Reporting Services cannot be used with GoldMine Standard Edition.

Microsoft Access

Microsoft Access is a powerful database creation and management application. It includes a sophisticated and easy to use (with some technical training) report development capability. Microsoft Access reports can include GoldMine data, as well as data from other software simultaneously.

Requirements: Microsoft Access is part of the Microsoft Office Suite product line. It is included with some versions of Microsoft Office, or it may be purchased separately. A Microsoft Access license is needed for any person developing or running Microsoft Access reports. Microsoft Access can be used with any version of GoldMine Corporate Edition, GoldMine Standard Edition, and GoldMine Premium Edition.

MasterMine

MasterMine is a powerful, flexible, easy-to-use reporting tool specifically designed for GoldMine reporting. It provides the ability to extract GoldMine information into tables, lists and charts with ease, leveraging the built-in analysis and presentation capabilities of Microsoft Excel. Requirements: One MasterMine license is required for each named user. Runtime licenses are available for GoldMine users who need to only run MasterMine reports. MasterMine works with both GoldMine Standard and Corporate Edition versions 5–7.0.

Stonefield Query

Stonefield Query is a powerful yet easy-to-use reporting tool designed specifically for GoldMine reporting. Automatically create fields and columns with “point-and-click” report development. Stonefield Query also supports report templates and role-based security.
